March Plasma Systems Completes Delivery of a Multi-System Order to a Major Medical Products Manufacturer
Concord, CA, August 2006 – March Plasma Systems announced today that it has completed delivery of a multi-system order of FlexTRAK plasma systems to a major medical products manufacturer. March was able to deliver all of the systems on time in an effort to meet the customer’s compressed manufacturing schedule.
The FlexTRAK system is the latest addition to the March TRAK™ series that has quickly gained acceptance for life science plasma applications with medical device and ocular products customers. The FlexTRAK system is a highly configurable, high-throughput gas plasma system that provides unparalleled treatment uniformity and process consistency for lean medical manufacturers. Its short cycle times, small footprint, ease of manufacturing line integration, cleanroom operation, and low maintenance revolutionize plasma processing.
“We enjoyed this opportunity to use our scientists and applications engineers to help develop this customer’s specific plasma application, and the FlexTRAK’s unique capabilities we’re an outstanding match for their in-line processing requirements,” said Peter Bierhuis, March’s President. “Plasma has a good history of applications in the medical device industry, and we are continuing to uncover unique methods to employ it throughout the life science area. The FlexTRAK system’s plasma processing flexibility and efficiency enhance our ability to integrate plasma solutions into our customers’ manufacturing environments,” said James Getty, March’s Applications Director.
